Brand Identity & Design
Brand Identity & Logo Design — Bronx, NYC
Most logos are designed on a laptop and never tested where they will actually live — on a facade, a window, a van or a 3-inch business card. We design brand identities knowing exactly how they will be fabricated, because we fabricate them.

Ask for examples
Send us a photo of your storefront or vehicle and we will show you completed jobs closest to it — same material, same lighting, same kind of wall.
A brand is not a logo file. It is the set of decisions that lets a customer recognize you from across the street: a shape, a color, a way of setting type. When those decisions are made with fabrication in mind, every sign you buy afterward is cheaper and more consistent.
We design identities that work in one color first, because half of the places a small business appears — a vinyl door decal, a stamped bag, a one-color banner — cannot hold a gradient. If the mark survives in black, it will survive anywhere.
Because we also build the signs, the design handoff is not a folder of PNGs. It is a set of production files that our shop, a wrap installer and an offset printer can all run without redrawing your logo.
Our process
Four steps from photo to installed.
- 01
Discover
We look at the building, the setback, the lighting and the budget. If a sign needs a permit, we tell you before you pay for artwork — not after.
- 02
Design
You see the sign on your own building, in daylight and at night, before anything is cut. Two rounds of revisions are included.
- 03
Fabricate
Letters, faces, frames and vinyl are produced in our Bronx shop. Every circuit is tested for 24 hours before it leaves the building.
- 04
Install
Our own crew handles permits, electrical coordination, rigging and cleanup. We do not subcontract the install and we do not leave exposed wiring.
Questions
Brand Identity & Design: what people ask
Straight answers with real numbers. If your question is not here, call the shop.
Do I need a new logo, or can you fix the one I have?
Usually the existing logo is salvageable. Most small-business logos fail at fabrication because they are low-resolution, have too much detail or use a color that cannot be matched in vinyl. We rebuild the file, simplify what needs simplifying and keep the equity you already have.
What do I actually get at the end?
Vector logo files in the formats a printer or fabricator needs, horizontal and stacked lockups, a color sheet with Pantone and vinyl matches, and a short guideline document. No mystery folder — you get working files.
Why does a sign shop design logos?
Because the logo has to survive a sign. A mark that looks elegant on a business card can disappear on a facade at 40 feet. We test every design at sign scale, in one color and in vinyl before it is approved.
What clients say
The work speaks first.
NewGen totally transformed our storefront. The illuminated sign they put up is eye-catching — customers tell us all the time they found us because they saw the sign. Professional from start to finish.
They wrapped our vans and the quality is outstanding. Tight edges, no bubbles, perfect color. Our fleet looks like a million bucks now. We have gotten new clients just from people seeing our trucks in the street.
