LED signage fails in predictable ways. The driver overheats because it was sized without headroom. Water gets past a dried gasket and corrodes a module. A string connector vibrates loose on a wall that takes truck traffic. Knowing which one you are looking at is most of the repair.
We stock common modules and drivers on the truck, which is why most service calls are resolved on the first visit. For older fluorescent cabinets, we retrofit to LED and bypass the ballast, which removes the most common failure point in the sign.
If you operate several locations, a service contract with a scheduled inspection catches water intrusion and driver fatigue before a sign goes dark during your busiest week.

Discover
We look at the building, the setback, the lighting and the budget. If a sign needs a permit, we tell you before you pay for artwork — not after.

Design
You see the sign on your own building, in daylight and at night, before anything is cut. Two rounds of revisions are included.
- 03
Fabricate
Letters, faces, frames and vinyl are produced in our Bronx shop. Every circuit is tested for 24 hours before it leaves the building.
- 04
Install
Our own crew handles permits, electrical coordination, rigging and cleanup. We do not subcontract the install and we do not leave exposed wiring.

Why is half of my sign dark?
Almost always a failed driver or a broken module string on that circuit. LED signs are wired in strings, so one failed connection takes out everything downstream of it. We test each string and replace the failed component rather than the whole sign.
How much does it cost to fix an LED sign?
The failure type sets the quote: a single driver is a small job, while water intrusion that corroded a module string and requires face removal is a larger one. Access is the other variable — lift rental and any permit are quoted separately. The quote is free, and we confirm a firm number after testing the sign on site.
Is it worth retrofitting fluorescent to LED?
Usually yes. A fluorescent light box burns 60 to 100 watts of tubes plus ballast loss; an LED retrofit for the same cabinet uses 20 to 35 watts and does not flicker in cold weather. Most retrofits pay back in two to four years on electricity alone, before counting lamp replacements.
Do you service signs you did not install?
Yes. A large part of our service work is on signs built by other fabricators. We will inspect, give you a written diagnosis and quote the repair — and we will tell you when replacement is the better call.
