Storefront Signs
Storefront Signs in the Bronx, NYC
A storefront sign is the single highest-return piece of marketing a brick-and-mortar business owns. We design, build and install illuminated cabinet signs, monument signs, blade signs and complete facade packages — and we handle the permit that goes with them.

Every photo is a finished job, shot at the address where it went up.
The storefronts that get noticed in the Bronx share one thing: the sign is designed for the viewing distance it actually has. A sign on a wide avenue is read at 60 feet from a car; a sign on a narrow commercial street is read at 15 feet by someone on the sidewalk. Those are different problems, and they need different letter heights, contrast and lighting.
We start with a photo of your facade and a measurement, then mock your sign at true scale on the building. You see it in daylight and at night before anything is produced. That step alone saves most of our clients a redesign.
Cabinet signs are the workhorse for pharmacies, laundromats, delis and clinics. Monument signs anchor a property with parking. Blade signs catch the cross traffic. Most of our best storefronts use two of the three together.
Our process
Four steps from photo to installed.
- 01
Discover
We look at the building, the setback, the lighting and the budget. If a sign needs a permit, we tell you before you pay for artwork — not after.
- 02
Design
You see the sign on your own building, in daylight and at night, before anything is cut. Two rounds of revisions are included.
- 03
Fabricate
Letters, faces, frames and vinyl are produced in our Bronx shop. Every circuit is tested for 24 hours before it leaves the building.
- 04
Install
Our own crew handles permits, electrical coordination, rigging and cleanup. We do not subcontract the install and we do not leave exposed wiring.
Questions
Storefront Signs: what people ask
Straight answers with real numbers. If your question is not here, call the shop.
How much does a storefront sign cost in the Bronx?
Cabinet size, face material, illumination, mounting height and the condition of the wall behind it drive the quote. Monument signs depend on masonry and lighting; blade signs are usually the least expensive way to add visibility. The quote is free, and you get a firm number after we photograph and measure the facade.
Can you match the sign to my existing brand colors?
Yes. We color-match from a Pantone, a physical sample or a flat file, and we print a proof before production. Translucent sign faces shift color when lit, so we check the match under LED, not just on paper.
What if my landlord has to approve the sign?
Most commercial leases require landlord approval, and many require a specific sign criteria package. We prepare a drawing set with dimensions, colors, lighting and mounting details that satisfies most property managers and we submit it for you.
Do you remove the old sign?
Yes. Removal and disposal of the existing sign is included in most quotes. If the old sign has hazardous material or the wall behind it needs repair, we flag that before starting.

They wrapped our vans and the quality is outstanding. Tight edges, no bubbles, perfect color. Our fleet looks like a million bucks now. We have gotten new clients just from people seeing our trucks in the street.
