Carepoint Specialty Pharmacy
A full-width illuminated cabinet over a Bronx pharmacy counter, with a raised cross logo, dimensional letters and an LED-lit service strip that lists what the store actually does. Face, lighting and mounting were resolved in the shop so the install was a hanging job, not a construction project.

The brief
The fascia was wide but shallow, with an awning at one end and a fire escape above it, so the cabinet had to fit the existing opening without covering the second-floor window trim. The copy load was heavy for the space: a two-line name, a cross logo, six service messages, two phone numbers and a web address. All of it had to hold up from across a wide Bronx avenue, not just from the sidewalk.
What we built
We built a single-face cabinet with a painted aluminum pan and routed acrylic faces, lit by UL-listed LED modules on a calculated grid with a driver sized for headroom. The cross was cut as a separate dimensional element and mounted on the face so it reads as a raised mark rather than a printed shape. The service strip was set in white on the dark field for contrast, and the whole cabinet was wired and burn-tested for 24 hours before it left the shop, then installed with the electrical tie-in coordinated and a DOB sign permit filed for the approved dimensions and copy.
How it landed
The sign is legible from the far side of the avenue in daylight and holds its hierarchy at night, with even face illumination and no hot spots. Service copy that would otherwise live on window decals now sits inside the cabinet, so the storefront reads as one system instead of a stack of stickers. The job ran inside the standard two to three week cabinet window, from approved artwork to inspection.
