Total Tox Testing Lab
A compact Bronx lab storefront with a dark blue cabinet sign and a metal canopy above it. The sign carries the service line, the brand, the website and the phone number on a facade only a few feet wide, and the canopy ties the sign band into the building.

The brief
The storefront sits under a stoop and shares a brick building with a dental office, so the sign could not run past the lease line or cover the window trim. The copy was the hard part: a full service description, a brand name, a web address and a phone number, all on a narrow face, all of which the client wanted readable from the sidewalk. The canopy above the sign had to be brought into the design so the new work did not look bolted on.
What we built
We set the brand at the largest size the cabinet allowed and moved the service description into a smaller band above it, with the website and phone number in white on the dark blue field for contrast. The face was routed acrylic with applied vinyl copy, lit by LED modules and a remote driver mounted inside the cabinet, and the canopy was refinished and reattached so the sign and the awning read as one storefront element. The install was scheduled around the dental office next door, with the sign assembled and tested in the shop first.
How it landed
The lab now reads from across the intersection in the order that matters: brand, service, contact. The dark face keeps the white copy high-contrast in daylight, and the LED layout carries the same hierarchy at night. The sign was delivered inside the two to three week cabinet window, with the canopy work running on the separate two to four week awning schedule.
